For those of you who are not familiar with the Livermore ArtWalk, it is a one-day art event that our Chapter has participated in for more than five years, except for last year, of course. It is back this year, with limited booths, and we will be participating once again.
This is the perfect opportunity to share our colored pencil art with others and give artists an opportunity to talk to people about their art. It’s also encouraging to hear the oohs and aahs when people learn that it is colored pencil.
Start thinking about getting prints and cards made for the ArtWalk, as those are the things that will sell. If you’re not sure about how or where to make cards, just ask. This is also a fun, social event, as many of those who bring their art stay for the day and enjoy the outing, catching up with others and engaging in conversation with anyone who comes to look at our art. You may be called upon to help … please don’t hesitate to help if you can.
