He received the Random Winner award in the Colored Pencil magazine 2023 art competition for his drawing titled "Entangled." The drawing was featured in the December issue of the magazine.
Jayashree Sadasivan
This is her first year participating for the Silicon Valley Open Studios (SVOS). She will be showing at Site No. 397, Maker Nexus - 1330 Orleans Drive, Sunnyvale, CA, Weekend 3: May 18 and May 19, 2024. Mark your calendar and plan to attend. She will have some of her original Colored Pencil art, her Acrylic paintings, Pen and Ink art and Mixed media artworks on display. She will also have some hand-painted greeting cards which can be used as small artworks.
Denise Howard
Her “For Lahaina”, the piece that she did for our chapter project last fall, has been juried into the Richeson 75 Small Works exhibit. It will be on display in the Richeson Gallery in Kimberly, WI, February 23 - April 26. The awards will be announced March 1. Only two colored pencil pieces were selected for this show!
Her “Steward of the Land” won 2nd Place in Drawing in the 29th Arts North International. The exhibit is on display at the Hopkins Center for the Arts in Hopkins, MN, January 13 - February 24.
Her "The Past from the Future” was juried into CPSA Explore This! 20.
She has two pieces in What Does Winter Mean to Me in the Los Altos Community Center gallery in Los Altos, CA, through May 31.
She has two pieces in the Pacific Art League Instructors Showcase exhibit at the Pacific Art League in Palo Alto, CA. It will be on display February 2 - 27.
She is giving a presentation/demo, “Speeding Up Colored Pencil” to the Campbell Artists Guild in Campbell, CA, February 17 at 1:30 PM. The meeting is in the community room of the First Congregational Church of San Jose. Guests are welcome to attend.

She received Honorable Mention for the Arttour International Cover Contest-Winter Issue for her piece "Invisible."
She is participating in the "Artists Together for Peace Exhibition" at the Grimandi Art Gallery in New York with her piece "Connected."
She is juried into the "Glimpse" exhibition with the Arts Guild of Sonoma with "Sanctuary" at their Sonoma gallery.
She participated in a digital exhibition on the "I Love NY" billboard in Times Square on New Year's Eve with "Dillion."
She received a Meritorious Award for "Winter Break" in the Richeson 75 Birds & Wildlife Online Exhibition.
Her pieces "Hopeful" and "Hawaiian Love" are exhibited online for the UKCPS Inside the Lines 7.
Her "Small but MIghty" was part of an exhibition at the Icehouse Gallery in Petaluma.
