Bio - MIKE PURDY
Mike Purdy, CPSA, CPX, has been working in the medium of colored pencil since 1979. Originally from Maryland, he attended Mission College in Santa Clara, CA, and graduated with an A.S. Degree in Commercial Art.
At age 18 he obtained his first paying job as a portrait artist for a local amusement park. He then worked for a major music/video chain as a muralist, a position he held for over 11 years. Mike has also completed work on commissioned portraits, illustration, and animation.
