ART GALLERY BY DANIELLE SMITH

"Hummingbird"

    BIO - DANIELLE SMITH

Danielle Smith is a technical illustrator and a color pencil enthusiast. She enjoys the creative process from beginning to end. Her ultimate goal is creating an art piece that entices the viewer with lots of detail, a sense of realism, and sometimes a bit of whimsy.

She usually selects subjects that challenge her ability to capture the beauty of light; how it illuminates, casts shadows, and creates a kaleidoscope of colors. She enjoys experimenting with different types of pencils and papers; each piece requires the perfect combination, allowing her to blend the colors to get the optimal result.

The time she spends engaged in the creative process makes the hours seem like minutes. Each session generates a sense of excitement and positivity within her; like little bits of therapy cleansing her of the worries that exist outside the canvas.
